Crowd (bulk) buying

In the past few days, I was shopping online on aliexpress, amazon and ebay. Aliexpress's good point is that it delivers for FREE! Dudeee It's freaking free for most of the products even when you order just one $ 0.1 good. Now, amazon and ebay should step up their games. As I was shopping for my precious cats' foods (a holistic super duper premium food which is no where to be found in Thailand) on amazon, I was ready to pay for them then WHAMMMM! the shipping fee + import fee was above 10,000 baht(the cats food total weigh is about 30kg.). I nearly fainted and continuously clicked back back back backkkk. I know this case is a bit extreme and who the hell's gonna pay for that! But in our normal life where we shop things that are not that heavy, the shipping fee will be a lot less.

Now to the point, where we shop for not that heavy things. Wouldn't it be great if we could share that hell of a shipping fee and buy it at a lower price with other people? Not just import stuffs but everything that is sold online? Buying 5 of the same items, the cost of each will reduce right? Now imagine if it's not only 5, but there's a platform where you can place your wishlist and wait to gather 99 more of your I-want-that-too strangers. Then buy it in a bulk prices. The problem here is where will they be delivered.

options:

1. The one who posted it first will receive delivery and every one else has to go pick up at that person's spot or at the agreed location

2.the platform services you by delivery services (you pay the charge) or you can pick up them up at pickup booth (free of charge).
